Formed in 2007 with only 23 members Guild Hall Youth Theatre (GHYT) has gone from strength to strength.   Receiving financial support in 2009 from the Children’s trust the last few years has seen the youth theatres membership rise to over 100 and through an exceptional Education and Outreach programme the youth theatre has provided new theatrical opportunities for over 1000 children and young people including some in the most disenfranchised areas of Preston.

GHYT are a producing youth theatre company and as such work from show to show creating inspiring, dynamic and involving theatre in a range of styles and disciplines. These include theatre based shows, promenade productions, street theatre and an annual summer school.
